According to the Camo Quilt Project, the quilt measures about 45” x 72”. More than 30,000 quilts have been distributed to active military and veterans. The quilts are presented to veterans in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice and homebound. Quilts include patchwork designs and are personalized for each veteran. The back of the quilt is made of fabric representative of the veteran’s branch of service.

John Boray of Oconomowoc organized the group of donors to present quilts to Shorehaven residents. “We wanted the veterans to know we value them always, and throughout the holidays,” said Boray.  “We support the quilt project as another way to honor those who gave so much.”
