A six week class introducing students to the Ukulele begins Monday, October 1 through Nov 5 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm at the Center for Life Enrichment. $30 covers all six classes. This class is intended for those who have never played a ukulele (or perhaps only dabbled) and would love to learn how to hold, tune, and play the ukuleles for sing-alongs or just noodling around.  You will learn to play several different basic strumming styles, read and understand ukulele chord charts, and play along to a large selection of songs. Not only is the ukulele budget friendly, it’s also the easiest stringed instrument to learn and become proficient on.  This class is offered as a continued class from the fall “Intro to Ukulele” but newcomers are welcome.  There are six ukuleles available to use but feel free to bring your own if you have one. Only 16 spots available. Register by Thursday, September 29 through calling 262 354 1375 or emailing jhalliburton@lho.org.
