Remembering those who served our nation

A noted VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE takes place Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Center for Life Enrichment, 1306 W. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc. This free luncheon and program is sponsored by Oliver Construction. Additional sponsors include First Bank Financial Centre, Culvers of Johnson Creek and Stifel Nicolaus.

Program will include Honor Guard Presentation of Colors, Master of Ceremonies with Randy Otto, guest speaker with Barry Rogers, United States Marine Corps  1967-1970 on “Vietnam: Experiences of a Marine Combat Infantry Officer”, followed by veteran recognition and playing of Taps.

Following the program at noon, veterans and one guest dine at no charge at Café LaBelle at the Center for Life Enrichment. Dinner includes: Grilled chicken breast in a mushroom wine butter sauce, savory meatballs, cheesy hashbrown bake, fruit salad, cold pasta salad, beverages, and a dessert selection.
