Who hasn’t heard of a Learjet, Boeing or a Cessna?  These are the more common 20th century airplanes built and flown.  But have you heard of the Piper or the Fairchild? Join Patrick Weeden, Executive Director of the Kelch Aviation Museum in Brodhead, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, February 6 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Center for Life Enrichment at 1306 W. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc. Weeden will present the “Golden Age of Aviation,” the period between the wars when civilian aircraft builders made engineering and technological advancements. The aviation expert will address Wisconsin’s early aviation history, and the vintage aviation movement that is active today. Learn more about the history and the progression of aviation and how our world has been shaped by it. Register for this free event by February 4 through calling 262 354 1375 or email jhalliburton@lho.org. Walk-ins are welcome.
