JOB OPENINGS:

 

Housekeeper – Monday thru Friday, No weekends.  This position has responsibility for cleaning public areas on our campus such as restrooms, hallways, laundry rooms and common areas, working primarily in our beautiful Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Hours are 7 am – Noon.  Extra hours may be available occasionally. Related experience a plus, but formal experience not required.  Customer service orientation essential!

 

Care Companion – Provide personal care and assistance for residents of our Memory Care CBRF, including recording vital signs, reporting changes in condition to the nurse, and providing for the safety of residents.  You would work in a household of up to 13 residents with excellent caregiver to resident ratios.  CBRF experience and/or certification is desirable but we will provide training/certification.  Minimum age required is 18.  Part-time positions available on PM or Night shift (2-3 shifts/week), every other weekend available on Day shift.  Occasional status positions also available.

$600 Sign On Bonus for positions of at least 30 hours/pay period (2 weeks)!*

 

Cook – Part-time position available in the kitchen of our Assisted Living.  Shifts will vary between 6:30 am – 2:00 pm and 12:00 – 7:00 pm.  Experience a plus but we’re looking for someone with a passion for cooking and the desire to serve our residents.

 

Café Attendant We have an opening for a Café Attendant in our charming lakeside restaurant on Lac LaBelle.  Located in our Center for Life Enrichment, you will have the opportunity to interact with our residents as well as members of the general public. Cheerful demeanor a must in this front counter position. As a Cafe Attendant, you will take orders and do simple food prep. Great hours, either 7 am – 3:30 pm or 8 am – 4 pm. Schedule includes every other weekend. Total of 45 hours in a two-week pay period. Related experience a plus but not required.

 

Dining Attendant – Part-time, 4-8 pm, 2-3 shifts/week.  Work in the beautiful lakeside restaurant of our independent living apartments.  Take orders, set and clear tables, serve food, assist with dishes.  Experience not required.  Minimum age 16. 

 

Food Service Aide – Part-time – This position is located in the modern kitchen of our Health and Rehabilitation Center. Responsibilities include food prep, primarily for salads and desserts, dish washing, etc. Training provided.  Regular hours will be 6:30 – 2:30. Four shifts/week, including every other weekend, with additional shifts a possibility. This position is eligible for the full benefit program.

 

Weekend Warrior CNAs – We’re hiring CNAs for our new Weekend Warriors program. Qualified CNAs can make $18 hr. by working any shift needed (as scheduled by Shorehaven) over the weekend, which begins for Shorehaven at 2 p.m. on Fridays and ends at 6 a.m. on Mondays. Must work eight shifts per month, with at least four of those being weekend shifts, as well as three holidays per year. Be sure to request the CNA Weekend Warrior program when you apply.

CNA/Long Term Care – Part-time positions available on all shifts.  Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus for Nights and PMs, $500 for Day shift!*

 

Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) – Benefit eligible opening Nights (10-6:15), part-time AMs, PMs and Nights, includes every other weekend. May work with rehab or long-term care residents.

 

Homemaker / Household Attendant – Part-time – This position assists in a household of up to 15 residents and works closely with our CNAs. Primary duties include light cooking, serving meals and cleaning, with the opportunity to interact with residents.  Part-time positions are available on day shift (7:00 am-3:00 pm 1-2 shifts per week) or PMs, 4:00pm – 8:00pm, 4 shifts per week).  Positions include every other weekend.  Minimum age 16.  Prior experience with seniors a plus.

 

Home Care Assistant – Part-time positions available 8am-1pm Saturday and Sunday, 6pm-11:30pm includes every other weekend and part-time with flexible scheduling. Will provide in-home services which may include housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, med reminders, or assistance with dressing and/or grooming. Must be 21 with a valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable vehicle. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs., and assist with transfers of adult clients. Related experience, especially with seniors, a plus.
